OUR TEAM
We combine three core types of expertise in building this platform:
- On-the-ground knowledge in over 50 markets worlwide based on several decades experience with finance and technical assistance for scaling impact tech;
- Expertise in engineering aspects of technology scaling, having designed and taught relevant courses (‘Design for Scale’) at MIT;
- Decision Analytics, a method to make complex decisions more transparent, data-driven, and unbiased by the decisionmakers prior knowledge or personal preferences.
Georg Caspary
CEO - Ph.D., M.B.A., M.Sc.Dr Georg Caspary has taught widely in graduate schools (including for five years at Georgetown). His peer-reviewed articles have appeared in journals such as ‘Energy Economics’, ‘Impact Assessment’, ‘Renewable Energy’ and ‘Global Governance’. He has been the recipient of various awards including e.g. being named on Germany’s "40 under 40" list and as one of the Atlantic Council’s Emerging Leaders in Energy and Environment.
He graduated as a National Merit Scholar in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford and holds advanced degrees from the LSE, Sciences-Po Paris and MIT.
Harald Quintus-Bosz
CTO - M.Sc.Harald is a seasoned leader in technology and product development with over 30 years of experience bringing innovative ideas to life. The owner of 15 patents, he has worked across a wide range of industries, transforming concepts into market-ready solutions. At MIT, he teaches technology scaling for small and medium-sized enterprises, equipping entrepreneurs and engineers with the tools to grow their products from prototype to large-scale production.
As a member of the Forbes Technology Council, Harald contributes his insights to the global conversation on innovation and impact. In his role as Head of the International Development Design Summit, he fosters creative problem-solving and capacity building in emerging markets, empowering communities to design and implement technologies that address their most pressing needs.
He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and holds an B.Sc. from MIT and an M.Sc. from Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering.
