For Whom
For Whom we have built this platform:
Our main user group are companies that develop and / or sell impact technologies.
In over 100 interviews with them, we have identified that the vast majority of them feel they lack the know-how, capacity and experience for scaling internationally; and state that they take international decisions on partially non-objective bases, like prior knowledge about a particular market.
However, we have also worked with those that represent the broader technology or technology scaling ecosystem, including
- accelerators (e.g. the largest cleantech accelerator in the US, Greentown Labs, greentownlabs.com) or VCs;
- multilateral financial institutions that drive the scaling of impact technologies worldwide, such as with the World Bank (worldbank.org) or Asian Development Bank, adb.org ;
- Secretariats of international environmental conventions (e.g. UNCCD, unccd.int);
- impact investors such as international environmental funds (e.g. the Global Environment Facility, thegef.org );
- investors in impact technologies in emerging markets, e.g. the International Finance Corporation (ifc.org).
