Our main user group are companies that develop and / or sell impact technologies.

In over 100 interviews with them, we have identified that the vast majority of them feel they lack the know-how, capacity and experience for scaling internationally; and state that they take international decisions on partially non-objective bases, like prior knowledge about a particular market.

However, we have also worked with those that represent the broader technology or technology scaling ecosystem, including

• multilateral financial institutions that drive the scaling of impact technologies worldwide, such as with the World Bank or Asian Development Bank; 
• Secretariats of international environmental conventions, e.g. UNCCD;
• impact investors such as international environmental funds, e.g. the Global Environment Facility;
• investors in impact technologies in emerging markets, e.g. the International Finance Corporation.
